Campaign Story

Hi, I hope you are doing well! My name is Candace and my wife’s name is Keren. Even though we have been married for 1 year now… we have been in the talks now for about 2 years on wanting to starting a family. For a lesbian couple it can be a bit harder for us to have have our bundle of joy. We plan to try at home insemination first as IVF and IUI can be more expensive. Over the past 2 years we have been looking for a sperm donor and after all this time we have found the donor we wish to use! It does make us really excited. The only part is being able to buy the sperm as it can take more the one time. It would nice to have the funds at hand if needed to buy more. We hope to start the process next year around October/November.

We plan to raise our kids with all the love and care in the world. Our family will be going on small trips, even if it mean we go hiking or on a walking trail. We love to be outside and enjoying the outdoor weather when it permits us too. We also plan to travel as much as we can during their childhood. We also plan to have Friday night movies/game nights just to make memories together and have something to look back on. Oh! They also will be raised in a trilingual household as my wife Keren is deaf. So they will learn American Sign Language, English and Spanish (Her family is Spanish).
